- No Refunds for Completed Work/Services: Once a project phase, service period, or digital product access has been delivered, reviewed, and accepted or utilized by the client, the payment for that specific work or product is generally non-refundable.
- Partial Refunds for Incomplete Services: If an ongoing service (e.g., managed hosting, SEO retainer) is terminated by the client before the end of a billing cycle or a project is canceled mid-way, a partial refund may be considered based on the percentage of work completed, services rendered, and resources already expended by PostITGPL Lanka, less any administrative or setup fees. The calculation of work completed will be at the sole discretion of PostITGPL Lanka.
- Initial Deposits/Advance Payments: Initial deposits or advance payments made to commence a project or service (e.g., for custom development, significant consultancy engagements) are generally non-refundable, as they cover immediate planning, resource reservation, and initial setup costs.
2. Specific Service Categories
a. Premium WordPress Plugins & Themes (Digital Products)
- Eligibility: Refunds for digital products are generally offered within [e.g., 7-14] days of the original purchase date if the product is found to be defective, significantly not as described, or if you encounter technical issues that our support team is unable to resolve within a reasonable timeframe.
- Non-Eligibility: Refunds are typically not issued for change of mind, incompatibility with specific third-party setups (unless explicitly guaranteed), or lack of technical expertise in using the product (provided documentation and support are adequate).

b. Managed WordPress Hosting
- Money-Back Guarantee: New managed WordPress hosting accounts typically come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are dissatisfied within this period, you may request a full refund of your hosting fees. This guarantee does not apply to domain registrations, SSL certificates, or any third-party add-ons.
- Beyond Guarantee Period: After the initial guarantee period, hosting services are generally non-refundable. Cancellations will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
c. SEO Services & ICT Consultancy
- Nature of Service: These services are ongoing and strategic. Due to the inherent variability and long-term nature of results, refunds are generally not provided for digital marketing services or for consultancy hours that have been rendered.
- Cancellation: Clients may cancel ongoing contracts according to the terms specified in their individual service agreement. Upon cancellation, services will cease, and no refunds will be issued for services already delivered or for the current billing cycle.
- Setup Fees: Any initial setup or audit fees are non-refundable.
3. Eligibility for Refund Consideration
To be considered for a refund, you must:
- Submit a written refund request to PostITGPL Lanka at hello@postitgpl.com within the specific timeframe mentioned for the service (if applicable) or within 7 days of the specific issue arising.
- Provide a detailed explanation of the reason for the refund request, including any supporting documentation, screenshots, or communication logs.
- Demonstrate that PostITGPL Lanka has failed to deliver the services as per the agreed-upon scope of work or product description, and that our team has been given a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue without success.
4. Non-Refundable Situations
- Refunds will generally NOT be issued in the following circumstances:
- Change of mind or business strategy by the client.
- Issues arising from third-party services, plugins, themes, or software not directly provided or managed by PostITGPL Lanka.
- Delays caused by the client's failure to provide timely feedback, content, necessary access, or approvals.
- Requests for features or functionalities that were not part of the original agreed-upon scope of work for custom projects.
- Dissatisfaction with subjective elements (e.g., design aesthetics) after an approval stage.
- Services or digital products that have been successfully delivered, accessed, and utilized.
- Any breach of our Terms & Conditions by the client.
5. Refund Process
- All refund requests will be reviewed by PostITGPL Lanka within 7-10 business days.
- If a refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow 14 business days for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
- PostITGPL Lanka reserves the right to determine the final refund amount based on our assessment of work completed, services rendered, and costs incurred.
